Some voices in my head have been telling me that all week and that's just what I have been doing. ...That's why it's been a little while since my last post.
On online covid-19 assessments, I didn't know exactly what "fatigue" meant if it were a virus symptom right up until this last monday night. All this week, I wasn't up to doing ANYTHING! Not my homework, my comic books, my drawings, my movie plans... I haven't even been up for figuring out how to use that new screen recorder without watermarks either. I might just stick with Screencast-o-matic and just say "You know what? Watermark or no watermark, this movie is still gonna be great!"
I can't even remember the last time I was all tuckered out for a whole week... One thing I know for sure is that it's NOT from sleep deprivition or all-nighters. That's my sister's problem, and wouldn't you know it, SHE'S doing fine! At least compared to me, I mean, at least SHE was able to focus on her homework without her mind swinging around like some crazy pendulum or something... Well at least I haven't had much homework for this week. Last week was a TON of homework, so its a good thing my stamina didn't crash then.
I guess I just really wore myself out this semester. Staying on top of my schoolwork and all those activities I mentioned up above (plus a month's worth of Wii Fit Plus training) finally got the best of me. Just got a good 14 hours of sleep last night, plus a nap prior to that, and I'm STILL not back at full capacity yet. (Curse of Achilles, anyone?) The way that both my blog and my moviemaking progress is going, My movie might just turn out as a movie about making the movie! ...and at this point, that doesn't sound like such a bad idea to me.
One last thing! Before I forget, Happy Halloween! Take it from me, make sure you have the energy for it and just go out there and have a spooktacular time!
It's fine if you don't want to use the new screen recorder, stick to what suits you best! Burn out is very common as you grow up, but don't let it stop you! Take as much rest as you need and continue your work at your choice! (However, if there is anyway to get rid of those pesky watermarks, I advise you go for it, but if that doesn't work out for you then don't worry!)
