Movie Mission, Day 2

I just finished watching Perfect Sky's final movie... ok, final PUBLIC movie, "Balloons". (Her real final movie, "Cedarwood Lake National Park" was unlisted for awhile, but then it got switched to private. Now I can't watch it again, but at least I got to watch it once while I could.)

I watched the whole thing once before, but it was as touching as ever this time around. I couldn't help getting all choked up at the happy ending... It was just so beautiful... It really was a great movie.

While I take a deep breath and a drink of water and at least TRY to calm down, I'll explain what I got out of watching that movie.

Perfect Sky's manager known as Busy Seagull encouraged Sky to get out there and seize the opportunity to become famous. She said this was because although she had real talent and heart into singing, she had barely any attention to show for it. There were a lot of famous singers out there, however, that didn't have as much talent or heart into singing, but they had so much attention!

This manager sounded a lot like my biggest fan, Brave Hawk. He always told me that my YouTube channel as a whole deserved WAY more attention than what it has been getting so far. I guess in a way, he kind of HAS been my manager... provided that I actually have a grasp on the DEFINITION of the word, "Manager".... which I don't...

...Moving on! The manager "Busy Seagull" also said something really important about opportunities. She told Perfect Sky that they're like balloons. Don't get distracted and let go of them, or you'll lose them forever. To keep focus and control, just hold on to your opportunity and don't let it slip away.

This spoke to me, too. After honing my skills in the 2nd Poptropica Month, my opportunity has come. (Do I even have to say what that opportunity is? ...What the hay, I'll say it anyway. This movie mission IS my opportunity.) I won't let this opportunity slip away. Succeed or fail, I WILL do the best I can here, and I'm going to do it right.

In lighter news, I found something in common with the "Balloons" movie and a few of Perfect Sky's other movies, including "Beyond the Thorny Thicket" and "The Archives of Cypress Cove Press". Each of the stories within those movies takes place in a time span of just a few days... not counting a flash-forward into the future with a few of them.

This is giving me a good idea of how my movie should span out. ...When and if I wow the crowd with my final product, my response will be "I learned from the best". Thanks for your help, Perfect Sky!
