I used to be good with keeping up with Poptropica's website and news. Almost every day, to be exact. Then I get off of that stuff and focus more on my movie mission, and a month later... SURPRISE SURPRISE! The 2nd 2020 dream island Goofball is out! ...I guess you never know WHAT might happen when you're away for a few weeks, do you?
...I have no idea WHO shot this photo of me. Maybe one of the Goofball locals saw my first goofy reaction to this island and decided to play the "GOTCHA" game! But I'm glad they did. This is Hil-ARIOUS. I think the captured expression is an odd mixture of excitement and total surprise...
Many Poptropicans agree with me when I say this. Goofball... island... is... AWESOME! Every step I took, I keep thinking, "I LIKE this island!" "This is fun!" "Me likey where this is going!" It's just like the Poptropica of old times, isn't it? Wonderful, I tell ya! I knew there was still hope for Poptropica.
Upon closer examination of the brand-new island, I found new libraries and newspaper stands. Some of their information dates back centuries, so I think I just found myself a new place for Poptropica research.
Not to mention the incredible scenery. A valuable asset to ALL Poptropica islands... But this scenery has really given me the thrills. Dark streets, shops, phone booths, subways... This reminded me so much of my OWN dream island... the island of Megatropolis.
Yes, this island has definitely given me much to consider in my movie in progress. At this point, I have no idea HOW my movie is going to turn out. But not to worry, I get that feeling all the time with my comics. What's important is that I've had my change of scenery tonight, and I trust that sooner or later, it will pay off in my ultimate Poptropica project.
