Looking Out to the Great Beyond

I've finally crossed over the country road boundaries and into the great beyond! ...Certainly a different Great Beyond than that of "Poptropica: The Movie". And I think I really LIKE it that way!

As I traveled, I kept a lookout for a third plateau I found last year, and I found it! I mapped it out and I call it "The Lookout." It has nothing to do with the lookout of the dragon ball guardian, by the way. This Platform is just another place to take in all the sights!

...Past the lookout, though, I came upon a massive hill... Surely the same hill my parents and I traveled on the day I decided to get back to these map expeditions!

I mapped this one in a rush, which is why not all of the trail shows up on my real map. But the moment I got back inside, I looked at these graph paper notes and thought, "Something is not right here..."

When I looked at that huge hill from a distance, I saw the trail curve back in some sort of snake-like pattern. ...So I adjusted my notes to see what it would look like then.

...I've estimated the highway roads on my map without actually traveling them, but I don't think I should go so far as to do that for the hill. ...And speaking of hills, that hill was really steep! I think that the arc measurements in paces are kinda messing up my map measurements this time... I dunno!

I must admit, this is the first of this year's expeditions that I did in the morning! ...Now I'm just flat-out tired. Maybe THAT was the problem with measuring out the hill!

...Well, I've come this far on my map, AND I've added an extra column of paper again. I think I have officially covered ALL of the ground I mapped last year! In that case, I'll compare my map notes and then take a break before trying to measure that hill again.
