Bigger Map, Broader Horizon

Yesterday I returned to the scene of the picture I drew last summer. Today I took the colors I captured from yesterday and finished the drawing in all its splendor.

I call this Plateau, "Adventure Plateau", named after my newly completed artwork. But mapping this out isn't going to stop me from returning there. There's still some stuff left to map out around here and the view is too good to see just once.

...Looking at it on the map as a whole though, I see 2 things: One, it's kind of a long way down there. Two, a long way down means gluing even MORE graphing paper together for this. I'm not used to big maps, but at the same time, I think it's gonna be FUN having such a big self-made scale map to travel with. ...Just as long as the map doesn't get TOO big of course.

How big IS too big anyway? ...I guess I'LL be the judge of that! I've already decided not to fold up the map, but rather roll it up like a scroll. That way, however long the map gets, I can just roll it right up. That means as long as the map doesnt get too tall, this map can NEVER be too big!
