Precedent Study

I learned that term in Architecture class. It means you study past projects in order to give you an idea for yours.

I did a BIG precedent study for Battle Morale. I searched for every Poptropica Youtube channel ever made before that I could find! (All in all, I found 5 or 6 or 7 of em total) and I got real hyped into watching virtually every video on virtually every channel! ...After a while, I absorbed all the input I wanted from those Pop channels, and I went and made that movie!

That was then and this is now. Now, my movie's long since done and I have graduated from the Pop-themed channel studies. But I still have a lot of precedent studies ahead for my new movie. ...Pirate movies, archived Battle Morale notes, and yes, even my own Battle Morale movie itself. ...ESPECIALLY Battle Morale, come to think of it. You gotta make sure you know every detail of your movie inside and out before you make a spinoff, lest it spins out of control like a map in the wind!

...That movie, Battle Morale, was what I studied today. I must admit, the movie always gave me the creeps a bit (Please don't ask why, maybe it has to do with the fact that I made the movie and I'm the star of it). But it was well worth it for me, watching it for the 7th time! (Yes, the 7th. Amazing that I haven't gotten tired of it!) I jotted some important notes out of it all, and now I have even MORE to think about for my sequel.
