Yipee!

Looks like my name is still getting out there bit by bit. Look how many followers I have now! ...I remember when I first started Youtubing in September 2020, which, by now, was about 22 months ago. And as of today, I made it all the way up to 55! ...Oh yeah, and my feature film is still getting more hits, so there's that, too.

...But I bet some people would be unimpressed. It took me almost 2 years to get 55 followers, when meanwhile, there are a million OTHER Youtubers who have gotten 100, 1,000, or even a MILLION subscribers, in LESS time than that!

Am I jealous? ...NO!... ...a LITTLE, maybe... but I'd like to think that most people would have just given up on YouTubing by now if they were me. I bet they woulda said, "It's been years, and I've worked HARD to make stuff worth sharing, with almost NO recognition to show for it! This isn't worth it, I QUIT!" ...I bet THAT's what a bunch of others would have said.

I've been thinking about how easy it is to just give up early in the business when things don't go your way at first, and I kinda take pride in the fact that I'm still eager to keep doing this Youtubing, despite the invisibility. ...I do it 'cause it's fun! Being able to make your own programs all by yourself with no movie crew telling you what to do. I admit, I still wanna be recognized one day, but I think this quiet work in progress means the world just isn't ready for what I can do just yet.

...All in good times. I just keep making tweaks to my channel in the meantime, (such as ditching that gamers-only playlist I made! I changed my mind. Don't need THAT list there.) and continuing my plans for the end of this channel and the beginning of the next one. After all, there are more important things than fame and fortune... Such as being happy with what you do.
