Oh, I Give UP!

We've been at this for MONTHS and what have we got to show for it? ...Nothing! Not even any BLOOPERS got saved! This'll NEVER work! We tried like EIGHT TIMES but those blasted screen recorder apps just won't work for this!

Seriously. What business does a screen recorder have shutting itself off without saving the recording thus far two-thirds of the way through the game play? We have taken a vote and are officially blaming Omegon and company for the whole fiasco, what with all those green lasers shooting every which way at the end of Episode 2. Suffice to say, a part 3 walkthrough by yours truly and her mei-mei is not happening.

Mei-Mei! ...I taught her that. That means "Little Sister" in Chinese! But I digress. I think we (and by we I mean me) have learned a lot in all our failed attempts for this YouTube Gameplay. #1: Gameplays are NOT, and never will be, my strong suit. I don't do them unless I have REASON to. (except that fairytale playthrough, what was I THINKING on THAT one?! Sure, I made it the day the bonus quest came out, and it was Poptropica Month, but STILL! If I realized Poptropica was gonna make a walkthrough THEMSELVES, bonus quest and all, I NEVER woulda made that video.) The SECOND thing I learned is... well... Dang it, I forgot!

Personally, I think it was fun doing this together - and frankly, it made a lot more sense than doing it alone. More openings for interesting commentary and smart-aleck remarks. Or even friendly bickering! It was a fun project to work on together, and I am seriously ticked that we didn't get to finish it, but Ring's right... Gameplays just aren't her thing, and I don't just mean from a technical POV - she's a storyteller. Not a commentator. That's more my bag. In my mind, this walkthrough was only an exception because we did it together.

Couldn't have said it better myself, Blue Ice! Even though the recording was never a success, I liked how we replayed that episode over and over together. It was fun! ...I will make a note on my OTHER gameplays, though. My "Last Flash Mythology Adventure" was me enjoying the Original Mythology Island one last time, AND reviewing all the work I did on all my Realms before the Flash Conversion process came and took it all outta the game. I actually never had so much fun PLAYING that island before, and probably never will again. It was definitely worth it. Also with those 2 "Poptropica Clubhouse" videos, one from Poptropica and one from Poptropica Worlds; They go quite well with the PHB "Clubhouse Tours" I made if I do say so myself. I am stunned by the Before and After reference. That Fairytale playthrough is the only game I have actual regrets on, so it kind of surprises me how many views and likes it has to show for it....

Let's just say that there's a reason that people like movie sequels and leave it at that. Anyway, I hope that all you Poptropicans out there enjoyed what we did manage to complete and aren't too ticked at the lack of a third part... or that it took us this long to give a "what the heck is going on here?!" update. Life is crazy on a good day. 'Nuff said.

Well said. I bet that will be reassuring to the few people that are actually SUBSCRIBED to my channel and actually KNOW about my website that is ON my channel! This is DEFINITELY a backwater channel. ...45 subscribers? Not a whole lot in that whole wide world of YouTube. But I'm not complaining. I have found that most YouTube channel holders have to be active on all sorts of different social medias in order to become known to public and for people to actually FIND their channel. ...Me? It's just me and my little channel for now... and some occasional activity on the PHB and monthly guest blogging for the Poptropica Creator's Blog. That Tik Tok pizzazz and the snapchat and facebooking and all that stuff... It works for SOME people, but not for ME! ...Besides, there are some perks to outcast Youtubing. You get all that practice in private and whatever attention you DO get is attention that really matters, am I right? ...I'm talking too much, aren't I?.....

Nah. This is you're HQ, after all. If people aren't here to hear you ramble, what are they here for? And I for one, can relate to "all that stuff" not being one's thing. I was self-diagnosed as SMI (Social Media Impaired) for most of High School and College. And I'm still disconnected from SM, regardless.

I can't say you are. You seem to be talking a lot less than I. Anyway, my last comment is about those Poptropi-con comics I started putting on my channel. I originally thought I should keep 'em secret, but they go real well with the Dream Island comic videos I made to share with Poptropica! ...Besides, I read a few to my cousin when he came for a visit, and now he can read more of 'em by way of my channel!

...I didn't tell WHY I made those Poptropi-con playthroughs on that Pop Fan Kids website I used to be on with Golden Crown, because I just wasn't ready to say anything at that time. But I might as well say it now. It was because I wanted to make those comics, and I needed those playthroughs as references! ...The 2 episode videos that DID come out on my channel actually came in handy! I realize I unintentionally ad-libbed much of the scenery off of memory in my comics, but those videos helped me figure out how to draw some cool 3D settings in there! ...and the video that DIDN'T come out? ...Well, Blue Ice and I played through that episode enough times to get all the inspiration I needed from that episode. Now I don't even NEED the 3rd playthrough. And honestly?... I don't even WANT it anymore.

I found out just by looking in the Poptropica store that Poptropicon 2 was on its way to being converted. They had Mighty Action Force costumes and Poptropi-con mini action figures... all that stuff from Episode 2! Which can only mean Poptropicon 3 will return as well. But even when it does? Forget it. No more playthroughs for me! Not unless I have Mythology-sized REASONS for it!

Amen to that, sister. As for the comics... they're more than worth a read, let me tell you. Just don't expect to see me in there - those comics are all the Ringster.

If I wasn't reading YOUR nickname right I might've thought you were calling me a RINGMASTER! Also reminds me of that nickname I came up with myself in my last Poptropica Guest post... 'Mini-Bracelet!' Not that I go by that name, it was just fun to make it up!
